I’m on a mission to improve the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest within our local community.

Did you know?

Less than 10% of people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest in the UK.

Can we improve?

Yes, we can. Early bystander intervention is essential and is proven to save lives.

How can we improve?

Create a CPR Confident Community

  • On a Community Lifesaver session I’ll teach you how to recognise and respond to a person in cardiac arrest with knowledge and life-saving skills such as CPR and using an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The training is suitable for everyone and is available for groups, local businesses and I also run Community Events.

Create active Community Lifesaver Responders

  • The Community Lifesaver Responder Course will equip participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond to medical emergencies in the community.

Community Lifesaver Responders are alerted to local cardiac emergencies through the GoodSam system.

Create a network of AED's within the Community

  • Implementing an AED network is one of the aims of the Community Lifesaver Initiative.

In particular the initiative will raise awareness of the possibility of installing home and personal AED units.

Darryl was truly amazing at giving this training. Patient and very informative on every aspect. I came away confident and knowledgeable on something I thought I knew about but clearly didn't. Darryl's passion for what he does shines through and makes you want to do more to help the community be aware of saving lives.
